The people do not need to resort to violence to secure government reform... the power of the people to leverage reform resets in their labor and consent to be governed... withholding both labor and consent is the path to negotiating successful government reform.
Withholding the People's labor (selective strikes) and the refusal to pay taxes ( non-consent)... are two non-violent means of protest... others, including denial of service and access to selective infrastructure, civil agencies, and government services.
Rallies and assemblies that remain in place… will bring about the desired reforms without violence. We must not resort to violence... passive-aggressive acts of protest, yes... violence no. THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE LIES IN THEIR LABOR AND CONSENT TO BE GOVERNED... remove both and negotiate reform.
Shutting down sectors of the economy and the engines of government through peaceful boycotts, and strikes... Refuse to pay taxes, conduct sit-ins, peacefully disrupt the conduct of commerce and government, and deny unrestrained access to facilities such as subways, airports, offices, etc., These acts of civil disobedience are a PEACEFUL means to demonstrate the publid’s resolve to have their petitions for reform acted upon. Keeping these acts of civil disobedience in place until the petitions become law will be crucial to their effectiveness.
We can petition for a RECALL AMENDMENT...The People can demand the recall of the sitting elected and appointed Federal government agents, subject to new elections and appointments.
A Term Limits Amendment can be negotiated… while these passive-aggressive acts are in place... We can limit the terms of elected and appointed federal government officials to one term in office... 6 years, with 1/3rd standing for election or appointment every 2 years... TERM LIMITS WILL END the corruption associated with the extended exercise of concentrated power... The People can break the back of incumbency and the political party's influence in government ... limit government service (elected and appointed) to ONE SIX-YEAR TERM.
The people have the power to hold the government accountable... it is vested in their labor and CONSENT to be governed. We do not need to resort to violence, to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN... refuse to work and pay taxes… negotiate Term Limits, and recall all of the current government subject to new elections and appointments. Include the Judiciary, DOJ, and federal law enforcement … in the recall and term limits for appointed officials.
