Dem Rep. Ron Kind Retiring, Opening Key 2022 Seat For Republicans To Flip

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suffered a major blow this week that could put Republicans one step closer to retiring the California Democrat. Pelosi has a slim majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and if Republicans win back the lower chamber, it’s already being reported that she will retire. With redistricting about to take place across the country — which will result in Republicans picking up some seats — even many Democrats believe they will lose control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections.

Polling: Republicans In Strong Position To Flip New Hampshire Senate Seat

All eyes could be on New Hampshire. A new report from NBC News details how control for the U.S. Senate may come down to which party wins New Hampshire in the 2022 midterm elections. “All eyes are on New Hampshire GOP Gov. Chris Sununu, who many Republicans view as one of the key ingredients to taking back control of the upper chamber — if he mounts a Senate bid,” NBC News reported.

“But while the political world waits for that decision, the rough-and-tumble world of political advertising certainly is not waiting for anything. The New Hampshire race already ranks as the third-most-expensive Senate race in the country when it comes to ad spending, according to AdImpact, with $2.9 million already spent,” the report added.

As of right now, polling indicates Republicans are in a good position.
