i have followed politics for a very long time through many different administrations, I do believe this is the very first administration that is COMPLETELY and TOTALLY incompetent and irresponsible, This administration cant get out of its own way, Everything they touch or go near turns into a complete fiasco, There seems to be not be a single Cabinet Member that has a single clue what they are doing or has the slightest idea how to solve any issue the country is facing and to think the Democrats are actually embracing this incompetence and embracing the idea of another four years of the same incompetence, I have beenj very interested i how the main stream media and the left has been spinning these latetest failures of BIDENS classified documents revelations and its astounding the difference the media and Democrats are treating BIDEN vs TRUMP,The real truth is that BIDENS failures may be much worse than TRUMP. The serious question for both is why did either one need these documents? But in BIDENS case he had no authority to even have these documents in his possesion in the first place an saying they were in a locked office is not sufficient, Who else had access to these documents in that locked office? Who else had keys to that locked office that may have read these documents? As Vice President BIDEN had no authority to declassify these documents and why were they in his possession in the first place and why did he feel the need to have them. While not excusing president Trump he did at least have the authority to declassify any and all documents he was in possesion of and they were bein held in a secure location under the security of the SECRET SERVICE, Seems OLE JOE has alot of explaining to do, IT appears it will be very difficult for the DOJ to charge President TRUMP without charging OLE JOE as well, But im sure DEMOCRATS being DEMOCRATS they will try to find a way.
I'm suspicious as to how this information leaked. Biden's own lawyers claimed they discovered the classified docs in one of Biden's homes. It sounds like they could have kept this info hidden if they wanted to. This could be a prelude to getting rid of both Trump and Biden. Even the top leaders in the Democrat Party don't want Biden to run for President again in 2024. They might even charge Biden with crimes, in which President Biden would simply pardon himself - one of the fringe benefits of being President. And, just to show that there's no "double standard" with the Democrat leadership, they would have the new "Special Counsel" to also charge former President Trump with alleged confiscation and concealing of classified documents in Trump's own home. I don't think this scheme on the part of Democrat leaders will work, but they're desperate. They would also need a qualified, level headed, Democrat to replace Biden as a candidate for President.
A president has the power to declassify documents.A Vice President does not

Precisely what I was going to add. "Timing is everything" and Beijing joe took those papers at the "wrong time" (while he was VP) and vice presidents are NOT allowed that privilege; President Trump, on the other hand, had every right to do so because he was President at the time.
