Her mother’s life was worth more than a signature. Jessica, 50, was found dead in a motel room in December of 2023. Jason Meinelt admitted assaulting her and causing her death. Judge Michelle Onken gave him 8 years deferred probation. Not prison. Not one day. Prosecutors asked for prison. The judge said no. He was already out on a personal-recognizance bond when she died. He skipped court that day. He was a fugitive for months. Then he swore to the court he’d never been convicted of a felony, which is false. Her daughter is begging strangers to care because the court would not. Share it. Victims and their families deserve justice.

Have the judge serve the minimum life sentence this guy should have! Until these judges are punished, they will continue to do this!
