How about we vacate all of Congress, the Administration, and the Courts !!!
Pass a Term Limits and RECALL amendment... Recall the current government subject to new elections and appointments, that bar all current members of the government from seeking any further federal office... any office elected or appointed. Limit the terms for all future members of the federal government to one term... ONE TERM, 6 years in length, with 1/3rd of the government standing for election and appointment every 2yrs... similar to the current process in the US Senate...
This single amendment would return our government to citizen politicians... It will ensure political parties never hold the keys to the Ballot Box or the nominees for office. Once the people have control over the agents and processes of government, they can pass the needed laws and budgets to return us to the nation our fathers bequeathed to us.
Pass a Term Limits and RECALL AMENDMENT... the peaceful transition to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Continue the corrupt electoral and political spoils system now used to appoint and elect our political leadership guarantees more of the same... corrupt government... and betrayal!

With an improved educational system that actually produces informed individuals capable of pro-active decision-making,

File a lawsuit to mandate Congress CALL THE CONVENTION... we already have sufficient numbers of pending petitions by the States to force the Courts to rule a convention is past due... and then order one, as part of the relief in the suit.
There is only one reason our politicians have failed to call an Article 5 convention... they know it will END THEIR HOLD ON GOVERNMENT and the purse strings that have enriched them and their sponsors.
The reason why people don't have "control over the agents and processes of government" aren't rigged elections but elections in which we think we are always forced to vote for the lesser of two evils, i.e. Republican up and down the ballot, which still leaves us with agents and processes of government that are evil. As long as we do the bidding of the lesser of two evils, we will keep getting evil.
