Immigration policies of the U.S. today result in immigrants that are more numerous, less skilled and less compatible with the American culture and majority than had been promised. They bring fewer benefits and many negatives beyond simply economic ones. Peter Brimelow summed it up saying current policies result in: “…an astonishing social experiment with no reason to expect success…Is this what Americans want?” In other words current immigration is transforming our home, America, without the homeowners, Americans, having a say in the matter, which is the very essence of the destruction of a democracy, not its betterment.

Much of what we see today regarding the left-wing/democrats’ acceptance of illegal immigration is best described as a desire for action taken without an understanding or even consideration for the rules that define constitutional order. They are often simply wishes made in disregard of the effects on our governing systems. They occur, at bottom, due in large part to failing to discharge societal obligations. They convey a mistaken belief that our freedoms will remain intact without active adherence to the rule of law. Faith in such behavior has been shown repeatedly to be misplaced. The ethical requirement for citizenship is the maintenance, if not improvement, of the constitutional structure, to attend to the rules that at the same time both allow and constrain our freedom. Without such what we will inherit, and what we will pass on, is vulnerable to non-principled exploitation and the loss of the very fruits of freedom many others have suffered to obtain so that we may enjoy. And such loss will also be so very difficult to recapture once its memory is gone from our public consciousness. It is highly probable that in a few years, Americans will no longer share a common heritage. Large sub-groups will compete for their "share" of the growing financial stress welfare state. It is highly probable that even our neo-liberal judges will be set demands for proportional ethnic representation.

Immigration’s darker side is the illegal alien. There is no effective control of illegal aliens in the U.S. today. Unnecessary backlash is the “kindest” description used by those favoring lax immigration policies to portray attempts to set higher standards, xenophobia and racist is the worse. It is almost impossible today for the INS to deal with illegal aliens without incurring policies, orders, rules, backlash and demonization by a growing ever more extreme left-wing/democrat faction in this country. Notice for example how left-wing outlets have even stopped referring to certain aliens as illegal and instead are using more attitudinally manipulative terms. Many illegals find sanctuary in major metropolitan areas across the country due to policies providing support for illegal aliens, which often includes free or subsidized (paid for by your taxes) education, health care, social services, drivers licenses, voting rights, etc (benefits regular citizens aren’t allowed to enjoy equally). In fact “catch and release” seems to be the best our government offers for this problem.

There are more than 30 million unlawful immigrant households in the U.S. These households impose a net fiscal burden, by governmental and non-governmental agencies, in the hundreds of billions/yr, on U.S. citizens. A National Academy study found the total net cost of an immigrant, after all they may contribute, is $68K per immigrant. Costs include public education (bilingual education effectively doubles the taxpayers’ cost of schooling while working to destroy the effective melting-pot process), welfare benefits, housing, medical, other benefits and services. More than 600,000 collected Social Security benefits, without ever making any contributions, from our going bankrupt Social Security system. They receive 50% more welfare benefits, 75% more food stamps and housing assistance and 64% more Medicare benefits than citizens. 66% of America’s population growth is due to immigrants.

FAIR finds:
-Illegals costs the American taxpayer, after subtracting their taxes, $152 billion/yr as of the beginning of 2023.
-Over 20 million illegal aliens in the US.
-564 lawless “sanctuary” jurisdictions in the US, many entering dire straits due to “all the costs.”

A study by the Heritage Foundation found a few yrs ago, so these numbers are now worse, that the average illegal immigrant would fall on the “tax consumer” side of the equation. In fact, 50% of illegal immigrant households are headed by people with less than a high school diploma, while 25% have only a high school diploma. The average illegal immigrant household received, per year, $24,721 in government benefits but paid just $10,000 in taxes — an annual benefit of more than $14,000 per household. The average illegal immigrant was 31 years old. If he receives amnesty, he will receive government benefits for 52 years. Over the course of a lifetime, just 11.5 million illegal immigrants granted amnesty would receive $9.4 trillion in government benefits after paying just $3.1 trillion in taxes.

Judicial Watch cited U.S. Census data which showed “that most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.”

Therefore, contrary to the lies the left-wing/democrats are using regarding the matter of illegal aliens, a more demanding immigration policy does not stem from fear or even hatred. It comes from love; love for our successful way of life, love for our freedom, love for our predecessors who sacrificed so that we may enjoy, and from what has been one of the underlying features of humanity, self-preservation. In other words, love for common sense. Our immigration policies and systems are broke. If we don’t fix them, they will fix us, and good! To believe otherwise is itself a most intense form of hatred, directed against the concept of the American nation. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn reminded us that the disappearance of a nation such as ours would impoverish the world no less than if all peoples were made alike.
