The Hanover Police Department in Illinois has REHIRED an illegal immigrant that was arrested by ICE in October, and the Montenegro alien will receive full “back pay” for the time he was on “leave.”
CBS News: “[Radule] Bojovic was released from custody on Oct. 31, after an immigration judge granted him a $2,500 immigration bond two days earlier. His immigration case is still pending.”
Hanover Police Department: “At the time of his detention, the Hanover Park Police Department stated that it hired Officer Bojovic in January 2025 in full compliance with federal and state law. Before hiring Officer Bojovic, the Village confirmed that he was legally authorized by the federal government to work in the United States. At the time of his hire, Officer Bojovic presented the Village with a Work Authorization Card, which was issued by the federal government's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Further, FBI and illinois State Police background checks revealed no criminal history.”
