A Fort Wayne student is suing Fort Wayne Community Schools, its leaders and her former principal, alleging they failed to protect her from a fellow student accused of sexual assault. The student, De’mykal Lockett, 17, faces TWO felony rape charges. His jury trial is scheduled for April 20. The lawsuit alleges school officials knew of a history of sexual misconduct but failed to take appropriate action.
