Both major political parties know this problem negatively impacts the nation's... standard of living and long-term security. They also know that elections will not provide the accountability needed to halt such negative government policies. These sort of problems persists from one election cycle to another, as the goals of Political Parties are not always compatible with the interests of the nation... parties exist to keep their elected members and monetary benefactors in power.

Political parties need a constant source of money to fund elections... and their power. They obtain the bulk of these funds through an incestuous relationship with the Deep State, serving their interest in what can only be called a Quid Pro Quo relationship... money for political action... Such interests do not always align with the People's best interests. What's the solution?

America needs a Term Limits Amendment... One term, 6 years for both elected and appointed members of the Federal Government, with 1/3rd of the government standing for election or appointment every 2 years. This will break the hold the Deep State has on the incumbent's need to find the FUNDS required to run for reelection. It will return our govenment offices to the care of citizen politicians who serve their term and return to public life.
