The January 6 committee is referring Donald Trump to be criminally charged on four counts, the panel announced on Monday after a unanimous vote.
The recommended charges were obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy to make a false statement and 'inciting,' 'aiding' or 'assisting' an insurrection.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, who led a subcommittee looking into criminal recommendations for the panel, also said a criminal referral would be sent for pro-Trump lawyer John Eastman.
He pointed out that the final charge, if Trump is found guilty, triggers 'automatic grounds for disqualification from ever holding public office again, at the federal or state level.'
'The President has an affirmative and primary constitutional duty to act to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. Nothing could be a greater betrayal of this duty than to assist in insurrection against the constitutional order,' Raskin said.
Lawmakers made the stunning decision during the panel’s final public hearing before the select committee is dissolved at the end of this year.

These criminal referals coming from congress have very little meaning unless the DOJ determines there is sufficient evidence to back up their request of course with PRESIDENT TRUMP they will probably at the very least go through another investigation at taxpayers expense simply because it is TRUMP I will admit that some of President TRUMPS comments i did not like But i sure did approve of his direction for the country which was in direct conflict with the SOCIALIST PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST LIBERAL VIEWPOINT. AMERICA was much better off with him than without him and we are seeing the results being played out before our eyes. The damage being done to our country will take years to correct assuming we elect a future president that cares.

Trump tried, and look what they are doing to him! He stirred them up to the point of a frenzy, and they are trying to make sure no one ever has the ability to get them so close to Justice. You are correct, the courts and all our policing agencies are corrupt, they cover each other's asses. I have seen it personally on the local level, I can't even begin to imagine the stink at he highest levels. I used to think it was conspiracy, but now convinced all agencies are involved, and somehow so is the Vatican. Why else do all our presidents go to kiss the pope's ring, outside of JFK none are Catholic. He is not the head of all Christian churches....what is the deal?

Recently I was 'banned' on a science forum because I did a horrible thing. I mentioned "GOD" and that was not permitted. Yet they call that science? Really?
This is not the United States of America that I was born into. Not at all. Even the weather itself has turned against us because we have turne our Nation's back on God.

President Trump's remark is the fact of the matter concerning Jan 6th. Yet the large majority of folks in every branch of our government, in every single State of the Union, either believe the lie outright that Trump is the criminal, or they do not give a tinkers damn at all.
That, fellow Americans, is the true State of The Union. And the entire World of 'civilized' people know it full well. And many of the governments hostile to the United States will damn sure take every advantage possible of the condition that America is now wallowing in like a pig in a slop pen.
Unless some drastic change occurrs right now, as in immediately, our future as a Nation is bleak indeed. Talk, as I am dong right now, is not enough. Warning is not effective at all if it goes unheeded on deaf ears. Action is required. We are being over run by by our own government now, but those from without will join the feeding frenzy on the remains.
