We the people are sick of all this street violence and we need the federal government to intervene with an iron fist across the country.
No. You are well-intentioned, but wrong. Rarely is Washington the answer to our ills. Look at the US DOE. FAILURE! And then, because Washington is a no go, we look to our state capitols. Wrong again. We should look inside, to ourselves. We should speak up. Where? This garbage of not speaking up has got us into this, a huge mess. Ministers, et al, do not speak up about issues that affect us locally, regionally, and nationally. The clergy say the feds will not allow them to speak. The clergy has no spine! No holy boldness. They should stand together. But they fight each other's beliefs and cannot drop those thoughts long enough to stand together on prayer in school. Bible reading in school, prayer at school games, abortion, what is taught in school, illicit drug sales in the area, prostitution in the area, or even area people who are in need of help. Why is it the local charities have to help with the poor. Where are the combined churches? God could care LESS about what denomination you are. The churches do NOTHING. WORTHLESS. Why is membership hugely down? It is because "we have it right." It is due to snobbishness. Fight amongst yourselves, Christians. The Satanists have it right. They are organized against you and the Christians re losing! Wake Up, Christians! Wake up Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Episcopalians, Lutherans of any sort, Presbyterians of any sort, Nazarenes, Methodists of any sort, Baptists, Southern Baptists, Charismatics (we cannot be Pentecostals nor Methodists!), Pentecostals, Church of God churches, and Independents. The satanists have defeated you only because they are bullies, loud, and organized. You Christians are spineless, not willing to fight, not willing to get of your rear-ends to do anything whatsoever. God says in Rev. 3, "I wish you either hot or cold, but instead you react in a lukewarm way. So, I will spew you out of my mouth." When was the last time you spoke at a school board meeting, wrote a letter to the editor, or spoke at a community council meeting, to your representative and/or senator, singularly or in a group? Of what are you afraid? I would be more afraid of God's disappointment with your inactivity!

Paul, I understand your thoughts. President Trump is not our savior. He is only going to do what God has him do. God calls Donald His new David. Donald will eventually sling his stone. But God will direct the stone's flight! Currently, God is shaking the earth, the sea, the dry lands, all nations He is shaking. Check weather conditions globally. Check catastrophic events. He is also shaking the stock market, et al, and major corporations. Notice the many CEOs that have quit, have died, or have been forced to vacate their post. He is now focusing also on the mainline churches. But those churches who listen to Him intently and attempt to do His will expand in His grace. His church is comprised of those who attempt to do His will. There is no brick and mortar. They may, or may not belong to a religious group. These people will not knowingly defy God. They will not listen to a gay person's sermon nor fly their flag. They will love the gay person and try to help that person, but they will not love nor condone their sin.
