Tonight, I addressed the city Council of Jefferson, Texas and its citizens about Judge Leward LaFleur.
As you know, judge the floor has had a second victim come forward, that being a man, who claims that an assault by judge LaFleur happened to him at the same party in a sexual manner.
I don’t understand why it had to get this far for someone within the government to finally take action…
One complaint is enough to ask the judge to step down and recuse himself of all cases pending the outcome of the investigation.
But I don’t believe that’s what Jefferson did.
If I’m not mistaken, he was moved aside for a couple of things or even for this case, but was allowed to go about his daily duties as judge.
Does this man oversee any cases involving children and assault or sexual assault of minors or adults?
If he does, each one needs to be scrutinized at this point.
And let’s not get into his political ties, that being tight and extremely close with Rep Jay Dean, which means he’s also tied in extremely close with Congressman Nathaniel Moran.
East Texas (Marion County) - is this the best you have to offer?
Is this who you want presiding over your cases in town and in the county?
It really says a lot about the community, the church, and the supposed “leaders”, and “men” who claim to have Christian values, claim to be about children’s rights, claimed to be about victims rights, yet remain silent about this issue.
I meant every word I said: if you remain silent on this issue, you are either complicit in taking the money and compromised in that way, or you are partaking in the same actions.
You can’t have it both ways, and you can’t ride the fence.
And I will call anybody and everybody else who tries to.
You can’t gaslight me into believing that I’m wrong on this issue.
