    • WE NEED TO CALL THEM WHAT THEY ARE, CULTISTS.

  • can't stand this man!

  • THIS MAN LIED ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCE IN VIET NAM IN A BIG PUBLIC STATEMENT SO NOW HE IS A TRUTH TELLER.  I DON'T THINK SO.  CLIMATE CHANGE HAS OCCURRED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD AND THESE CLOWNS ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE IT.  EVERYTHING THEY PROPOSE WOULD ONLY INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF CO2 IN THE ATMOSPHERE.  AND CO2 IS NOT AN ENEMY.  THEY POINTED OUT CARBON MONOXIDE, WHICH WAS A PROBLEM, BUT THEY FLIPPED IT TO CO2, WHICH IS NOT A PROBLEM, THE SAME WAY THEY STARTED OUT WITH GLOBAL WARMING, WHICH WAS PROVEN TO BE A LIE AND FLIPPED IT TO CLIMATE CHANGE.  LIES LIES LIES LIES.

  • Kerry was a Traitor come home from Vietnam and every day since then he has done every thing he could to rob the American people with lies about the fake global warming

  • look familiar?

  • Such B.S, and they all came on private jets! 😳

    • Time to tax the hell out of private jets, yachts, and private autos valued over 100K.  Stop all US exports of domestic crude and refined petrolium products.  Reevaluate all federal crude oil leases to: 1) dramatically increase the government's share of the revenue produced from the leases. 2) too, cancel any lease not developed in the first ear of the lease and put the lease back on the market. 3) pass the necessary legislation to increase our crude refining capacity to a level sufficient to meet current domestic demand. 4) Outlaw the incorporation or operation of any organization that supports undermining the US Economy, sedition, or treason... stop the unconstitutional transformation of the Republic's government and its civil and government institutions... while making the US the world's number one producer of ENERGY.... all forms.

    • We need you to run for president.

    • Bush did exactly that. We were the world's #1 in luxury yachts. His "taxing the hell out of private yachts,..." send the entire industry out of the country.

"Tax the hell out of..." is NOT the rallying cry of a PATRIOT.

The great, late, Walter Williams opined on this issue more recently. Here are segments of his 2011 column.

Let’s look at what happened when…George H.W. Bush signed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 and broke his “read my lips” vow not to agree to new taxes. When Congress imposed a 10 percent luxury tax on yachts, private airplanes and expensive automobiles, Sen. Ted Kennedy and then-Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell crowed publicly about how the rich would finally be paying their fair share of taxes. What actually happened…In the first year, one-third of U.S. yacht-building companies stopped production, and according to a report by the congressional Joint Economic Committee, the industry lost 7,600 jobs. When it was over, 25,000 workers had lost their jobs building yachts, and 75,000 more jobs were lost in companies that supplied yacht parts and material. …Jobs shifted to companies in Europe and the Bahamas.

      REALLY?!

      Walter Williams, RIP
One of America’s leading public intellectuals, Walter Williams, has passed away. In 2014, I shared a teaser for Suffer No Fools, a video biography of…
    • There is a difference between "tax the hell out of them" and paying a tax that represents a fair exchange for the services the wealthy enjoy... Yachts have access to major sea lanes patrolled and MAINTAINED by the government... charts, navigational buoys, satellites, anchorages, weather, coast guard emergency services around the world, etc... lots of services most people are unaware of... so yes... tax yachts appropriately.

Manufacturing yachts in the USA, like all manufacturing, needs to be protected from leveraging third-world labor, taxes, and regulatory expenses to achieve an UNFAIR advantage over US Manufacturing.  The use of tariffs, imposts, and customs duties on imported yachts and or to receive US Registration ... should be met with heavy tariffs and duties to protect uS yacht manufacturers from third-world market disparities.  We need to understand foreign registration and anchorages are often used to avoid ALL US Taxes and registration fees by many of the wealthy.  Also, many of the primary manufacturers of yachts are and have been foreign.
