A judge has ordered the federal government to hand over emails from Joe Biden's White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki after she allegedly admitted to "lying" to the media in one thread.
The court requested a review of Psaki's communications regarding conversations she had about secret meetings the Obama-Biden administration held with the Islamic Republican of Iran.
The order is a response to a lawsuit from the constitutional liberties organization American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
ACLJ contends Obama's State Department deleted an embarrassing admission that the administration lied about its Iran negotiations.
According to the suit, Psaki, then-State Department spokesperson, was caught lying about the meetings during a 2013 press briefing video.
The ruling centers on the email by Psaki, which the ACLJ claims is evidence that she lied during the briefing.
