She is absolutely out of touch with reality. She fails to realize that guns do not kill people, people kill people, and the gun is the instrument they use to kill people. Cars also kill people, knives also kill people. Hammers, clubs, blunt instruments, and a wide assortment of things kill people. Tell it like it is. They want to take guns so the public cannot keep the government from making them slaves. All you have to do is follow history. Look at how Stalin, Hitler, and the other dictators have ruled. The one thing they did was take guns from their citizens, after that it was easy to make the country slaves. Yes, Wille Brown should have gone down to the Red Light District opposed to keeping this idiot happy.
I was living in Florida years ago when the governor approved gun carry. You could see many in the backs of pickups and you'd be amazed at how crime dropped. A reporter went out to Flroida State prison and interviewd inmates on the subject. They were in agreement that crime went down because they weren't stupid enough to generate it because THEY feared they would get shot. The bigger effort should be on removing the illegal guns from criminals thats been allowed to spread recklessly.
More lives are saved and violent crimes avoided where firearms are not restricted than in locations where the 2d Amendment is not honored. Ban firearms and watch murder and violent crime rates increase.
