NO doubt in my mind, you are exactly right, with one exception. It's already happened!!! The most succesful American investors I knew of 20 years ago, left the country then. Knowing where we were headed and that the demise of the USA was already well underway! HELL is here!!! Even though I just said that, I also know that even I continue to hold on to hope, when there is none!
Hope without faith is presumptive... empty. Does anyone have FAITH in our government or the nation's leadership (political and social)? The resultant loss of faith has metastasized into a malaise and pessimistic outlook by most informed Americans.
Our Hope is being held hostage by corrupt leadership...
Really... who would have guessed... Congress and the Administration permit millions of indigent military-age males to enter the US illegally... an army of dissidents from foreign nations with declared hostility toward the USA is given preferred entry access to the USA.
America's 'deep state' invites and pays for Millions of foreign combatants... to enter the nation illegally, and it wasn't intentional? It was an accident.. a clerical mistake? I think not...
I think the importation of these military-age males was a TREASONOUS act... planned by members of our government... who hold high political office... acts of treason. America's sovereignty is technically under assault and the public and MSM are ignoring it.

Maybe i am revealing something here to which little attention has been given: BUT having written many CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE and having almost all "bounce"-rejected, and Not knowing WHY, The Question Arises "ARE THESE PEOPLE, (WH GET THEIR BREAD AND BUTTER HERE), ANTI AMERICAN???--And Are They an Enclave for ANTI AMERICAN OPERATIONS ???
