  • When McCarthy says "majority", is he referring to the minority that has been repeated numrous times due to the treachery of at least (12) RINOS in the house who choose to sit on the right side of the aisle but vote on the left side of the aisle?

  • We need a speaker of the House that number one job is to the American people and not to the party high tech owners and rich people we need someone who thinks about those people who depend on a paycheck week by week

  • Kayleigh McEnany would run your traitorous ***** right on out of congress, out of the country, wbich is what this **** deserves. Ukraine might welcome McCarthy.

    • Thank before you speak.  The Speaker of the House does not need to be the of the same party as that in control of the House.  That being said, would you rather have Hakeem Jeffries?  I don't always agree with McCarthy, but compared to anyone in the de"mock"rat party he is not traitorous. Throwing around accusations without anything to back them up; makes you look like a less than honorable person.

    • Martha, you hit the nail on the head. This is our problem and this is why the GOP leadership will not ever change. If the choice is between McCarthy and Jeffries, they know that we will support them no matter what. Even if Republicans run a better candidate and he or she loses against McCarty in the internal contest, we still support McCarty. And this is exactly how we keep ending up with rinos in Congress and in the GOP leadership. On top of that, we accuse them of being spineless when we ourselves also bend to their devious schemes. What are we going to do about this? Do we continue to just vent, or do we have other, realistic options?

    • McCarthy has always been a RINO. Never supported Trump but pretended to.

Follow live updates on the House committee hearing on the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

In the days after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building, the two top Republicans in Congress, Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Mitch McConnell, told associates they believed President Trump was responsible for inciting the deadly riot and vowed to drive him from politics.

Mr. McCarthy went so far as to say he would push Mr. Trump to resign immediately: “I’ve had it with this guy,” he told a group of Republican leaders, according to an audio recording of the conversation obtained by The New York Times.

He sounds like a D to me. Prove he's not. Freedom Caucus does NOT support McCarthy.

    • In addition, he has "called on the carpet" the following Trump/MAGA supporters: MJT, Madision Cawthorn and Lauren Boebert, each of whom is cleanly
and clearly in support of both MAGA and Trump. McCarthy has also been called out by a FOX reporter to his FACE for lying.
