Kid Rock tells the “crazy” story of how he actually became friends with President Trump.
TRICK TRICK: “You and Trump always be cool?”
KID ROCK: “No, I did not know him until I endorsed him to Rolling Stone magazine when he first came down that elevator. They asked me a question about something. I was like, ‘Man, I like that dude that came down the elevator, the businessman.’ I go, ‘I’m sick and tired of these politicians f*cking everything up'... Just give the business guy a shot at doing it. Let’s see if we can run America like a business. Because if you ran any business like they’re running America — f*cking broke.”
TRICK TRICK: “You’re right. You’re right.”
KID ROCK: “When I met him, this was crazy... so I knew Sarah Palin... She goes, ‘Hey, do you want to come with me to dinner at the White House with the President?’ I’m like, ‘Hell yeah!’"
“I go, ‘How’d that happen?’ She goes, ‘He invited me to dinner and told me to bring some interesting people.’ And it’s me, Ted Nugent. We strut up in there, and we just hit it off immediately. I really pride myself, my younger years of not giving any f*cks.”
TRICK TRICK: “That’s right.”
KID ROCK: “This man! I was like, I was just amazed at his non f*ck giving. It was epic.”
