King George the Third crushes and defeats the American colonists.
King George the Third was woefully lacking in strategic insight and cunning stratagems.
Neither he nor his parliament fully grasped psychology and psychological warfare.
They could have crushed the British American colonists by psychological trickery.
He could have pacified and subdued their opposition and ire.
They could have muted the wisest counselors and promoters of the rights of man.
How you ask?
Simply, have King George The Third keep delaying doing anything, have him keep making promises that he will do something about the colonies gripes, that he will honor their petitions and grievances, that changes will be made, in good time.
Tell the people:
Just be patient.
He is on it.
Then have King George the Third visit the colonies, shaking hands and kissing babies.
Have him or members of parliament make speeches extolling the American colonials, how much he loves and appreciates them.

How much they value the colonists sacrifices after their heroic services in the French and Indian war.
How thankful they are at the wealth they have poured into the British Empire.
Then feign a threatening radical domestic opposition to King George III and the safety of the state. Tell the people there have been discovered machinations to remove him.
Expose and disclose the plans but allow the idea to fester as still having legs.
And amazingly you have pacified the citizens into doing nothing!
James Otis, John Dickinson, Thomas Paine, Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Patrick Henry, Hamilton, Madison, George Mason, all the founders are looked on as extremists!
Don’t you know fine sirs, King George and parliament will get to it!

Plus, have you not heard about the coup which that radical opposition group has planned or attempted on our King?
Patrick Henry and George Mason would have persisted, Jefferson and Adams would not have let up.
Then, throw them in prison now!
They are endangering the peace, they are flat out radicals, how dare you defy the King and question his sacred word and promises?!
This is flat out rebellion, we will not have this!
The King has much on his plate to deal with!

They are imprisoned for questioning the King and inciting rebellion.
All while the stamp act and taxes remain in place, all while the same ministers remains in leadership and perpetuates this overbearing policy, all while British troops remain in American colonies, effectively implanting your stronghold.
Is it possible some such trick is being played on you?
