Launch of ‘Restore Britain’ Party in UK Rattles Reform UK and Tories
Elon Musk was instrumental in the launch of the party, with MP Rupert Lowe leading the new party. Metro UK: Former Reform MP Rupert Lowe has announced he is launching a rival party to Nigel Farage’s movement. Mr Lowe, who represents Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, unveiled Restore Britain to ‘restore competence, confidence and national purpose’ to politics. Originally launched as a political movement, he suggested the brand would act as an umbrella organisation which would partner with local parties, including his own local group Great Yarmouth First. Before launching as a separate party, Restore had attracted several prominent Conservative members in an advisory capacity, including former London mayoral candidate Susan Hall and former cabinet minister Sir Gavin Williamson (Metro). The moral atrocity of the rape gangs was central to the effort to launch the party. From the party’s site: We must call it what it is. It was, and still is to this day, the rape of Britain. They can call me Islamophobic, racist or whatever else. Let me be abundantly clear with you all tonight. I. DO. NOT. CARE. I would rather be labelled a racist than enable rape (Restore Britain). From Lowe: On day one of a Restore Britain Government, the burqa would be banned. It is distinctly un-British – it’s unpleasant, it’s divisive, it’s unsafe. We do not want it on our streets, we do not want it in our communities…. We said we will have the courage to end the creeping islamification of Britain. And we mean it. Restore Britain will show that courage. Restore Britain will ban the burqa and the niqab (Lowe).
