The media is losing their minds over this, I think they are, some of them are finally doing what they were supposed to do, should have done all along.
It's not about fairness and who is next in line......this is not a throne where there is a next in line, we have a republic, it's supposed to be the BEST person for the job to keep the constitution alive and working for the republic!
I am not certain I berlieve Boebert on this: from what I have heard they keep changing the goalposts (and that doesn't only come from FOX News. She is a bit of a loudmouth who sometimes stretches the truth.

"Moving the goalpost" is a spin by the GOP leadership and the msm. Boebert and her allies have made it clear since the summer what they expect from the new Speaker, way before the Republicans even had a majority. McCarthy is a typical GOP leader. He doesn't care about we the people because he has come to learn from experience that we will always support Republicans no matter what since he and his ilk have told us over and over that we must pick the lesser of two evils. Today McCarthy expects that Boebert & Co will also fall in line like we do because they will realize eventually that they have no other option but to pick the lesser of two evils. I am proud of Boebert & Co that they show backbone and don't buy this silly "lesser of two evils" line anymore.
I agree!!!! Finally there's a group who are doing what they supposed to be doing, and suddenly conservatives are ashamed, they are uncomfortable standing and not just going along, to walk a smooth path. Funny how people say they want change, a fight, then when we have it.......... they buckle because they do not like confrontation.
Exactly... the new rep from Colorado has the right message and the FIRE to make it heard... will it work? I hope so.

I totally agree with Boebert and her raw bravery! Would that we should have 200 more like her in that den of iniquity and entitlement that has led and abetted the Left in carrying this great country into chaos and shambles.

I find it astonishing that Trump supports this McCarthy person. He has done virtually nothing meaningful and worthwhile in his political career but play politics just as he is doing now. What makes anyone think that he should be Speaker of the House?
I see the Republican Party once again cutting its own throat. For what? McCarthy says that he is' committed to putting America Back on Track again.' What track is that? A one way road to hell, again and again and again, blabbering nonsense while our country goes down the slop chute? This guy is not the answer. He is a big part of the problem.
We had better work to be a Nation Under God again, with leaders determined to lead in that direction, not on some self destructive path to perdition. We are gong the wrong way, with woefully weakly principled leadership. This is sick. What good does the House hope will be accomplished by selecting this guy as Speaker? Somebody please tell me.
