The Ukraine conflict is an internal soverignty issue... One that has been festering for hundreds of years... The conflict is more a Civil War between the Eukraine and Russian oligarchs for control over the valuable agriculture, energy, and sea ports of the Eukrain, more than ideological disputes over who administers their particular brand of socialism/communism.
Taiwan is also an internal Chinese soverignty issue... one dating back to the former Nationalist Chinese Party and Mao's CCP civil war for control of China proper... The Nationalist Chinese were supported by the US in that civil war and the Nationlist's claims as the successor party and ligitimate government are still in dispute. The One China policy was to settle all the claims by Nationalist China (Taiwan) as the successor governmetn for all of China... with a compromise that allowed Taiwan to remain independent of Mao's China in exchange for the world's and UN's recognition of the CCP as the ligitimate successor government of China.
Both wars... the Eukraine and China Tiawana are civil wars... internal disputes with the Eukraine conflict dating back as far as Katerine the Greaat and her reign as Tszarina of the Russian empire. The USA needs to stay out of both conflicts if possible. We have a treaty obligation with Taiwan and need to honor it as one of the guarantors of their secuirty under the ONE CHINA negotiated agreement. Otherwise, we need to remain neutral or in support of existing agreements... we should participate as an interested party in any current and future negotiations. This is especially true concerning Taiwan, as there is an existing agreement 'ONE CHINA POLICY' we are a party tool
Yes something stinks, As bad AS THIS LEAK WAS, and should have never happened and this young man will spend years in prison, it did reveal information that was unknown to the American people, The fact that the war is not going as well for UKRAINE as we are being told by this administration and their lap dog press, The fact that we actually have as reported U.S. TROOPS on the ground there should alarm all americans, WHY ARE U.S. TROOPS THERE? WHO SEN T THEM THERE? AND IS CONGRESS IN AGREEMENT WITH THIS POLICY OR DID THEY EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT? We should all contact our members of congress and ask them if we do in fact have U.S. TROOPS on the ground in UKRAINE and if so WHY ARE THEY THERE? All it takes is for one mistake by either side and the result will be devasting. As a VIET NAM VET i am well aware how we ended up in a war there, We dont need the same result again. We must and will ALWAYS DEFEND OUR NATION FROM ANY AGGRESSOR, But we cant be dragged into a conflict because of stupid decisions made by those in WASHINGTON .America and the American people have always answered the call around the world to defend freedom But we can not be the POLICE FORCE for the entire world. If in fact U.S. TROOPS are on the ground in UKRAINE we need to know that and the reason they are there. We obviously cant be told about everything that is going on in our INTEL COMMUNITY some information is absolutely secret and must remain so, But sending U.S. TROOPS into someone eleses war and why we are entitled to know.

The one thing we VIET NAM VETS learned, Politicians cant tell us how to fight a war from WASHINGTON, an d that did happen Commanders on the ground were given orders coming directly from WASHINGTON. The WAR MONGERS DONT CARE ABOUT OUR LOST BLOOD AND LIFE THEY ARE Back in D.C. safe and sound without a clue what they are talking about. My fear now is that some of the same WAR MONGERS WANT TO DRAG US INTO ANOTHER CONFLICT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT WE WILL B E FACING AN ENEMY WITH NUCLEAR WEAPOMN CAPABILITY. This would be a war in which there would be NO WINNER ALL WOULD SUFFER. Surely out of 535 members in congress House and Senate there must surely be some that can think logically?
