2/ For all the talk among liberals about how the calling up of the National Guard is the first step in Trump’s authoritarian plan, there’s a zero percent chance that anyone who isn’t a liberal cares about that right now.Â
3/Â When there are these sort of events happening in a major city, people want the violence to stop. They may have their own doubts about law enforcement but, in moments like these, they stand behind the cops or the National Guard or whoever is trying to restore peace and quiet to the streets.Â
