The central purpose and responsibility of our government was, and is, to provide protection to the American citizens against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Public officials swear and/or promise by affirmation to do just that, to the very best of their abilities to do it, under God, and believe it or not God is watching how everyone performs.
To suggest that our own government officials would partner with Islamic terrorists in the attacks on 9-11 without absolute proof, serves only to suppress the truth of the matter while destroying confidence in our own country and weakening the will of the American people to stand tall and confront our enemies.
We, the People, are not perfect. Yet this Nation was founded by God, who used imperfect people to do it. And we are all blessed because He did. In fact, the entire world was blessed by America's founding.
Since 9-11 twenty years ago our Nation has been weakened by doubt, mistrust, liars, thieves, illegals, criminals of all types, and the abscence of law enforcement equally applied to all, with justice becoming a victim and common sense a casuality of war. Confusion and increase in doubt has resulted, and people (including myself) have become more cynical, rude, and anger more quickly than before.
The Patriot Act may have been thought of as a means of protection intially, but it morphed into a tool of controlling decent people while allowing criminality to advance, and openly, even blatantly, occupy the chief seats of government, in all three branches. We have been influenced in our thinking to the point that refusing to accept reality is only a matter of opinion rather than one of mental retardation.
For instance, why would anyone vote for, or even consider voting for Biden. What on earth would cause that? Because Trump was a mean tweeter? Really? How retarded is that? Yet 80 million and more are said that he received that number of "attaboys" to , get this, Constitutionally place his rear end in the Oval Office. And that conspiracy has no standing to even be investigated. Real as it is.
And we are living, stewing is a better term, as a result. The Patriot Act sure as hell didn't protect America from that one, now did it.
The whole world is watching us. Our enemies scoffing. What once were allies looking on in astonishment.
