McCarthy negotiates a no-limits Debt Ceiling... suspends Debt Limit for 2yrs.  House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has struck an agreement to SUSPEND the debt limit for the next two years. How is that negotiating a debt limit?

The suspension of the debt ceiling until January 2025, will make room for more than 4 TRILLION in additional debt and this is supposed to be a victory. Republicans insisted on reducing spending and had passed their bill with large cuts AND a cap on the debt limit last month. Today, we find McCarthy traded that bill for a 2yr no-limit debt ceiling and a 2-year budget deal with very limited cuts and accessions.  The Budget deal essentially holds spending flat for 2024, with a 1 and 2 percent boost for defense and veterans programs over the next 2yrs, all other expenditures are capped at FY 2022 levels... a record year due to COVID.

McCarthy's agreement to suspend limits on the Debt Ceiling... essentially establishes a no-limit debt ceiling for 2yrs, His budget negotiations FAILED TO CUT SPENDING, and he calls that victory... Yet, America is looking at a 4 Trillion Dollar increase in debt over the next 2yrs... That is McCarthy's definition of victory.

How is that negotiating?
