Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is urging Republicans not to object during Congress’s count and certification of the Electoral College vote next month.
McConnell’s comments were made during a caucus call on Tuesday, according to a source familiar with the call, and come as House Republicans are eyeing a challenge to the results on Jan. 6 during a joint session of Congress.
No Senate Republicans indicated during the call that they are currently planning to object.
“Not that I heard,” said Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), asked if anyone indicated that they would object during the call.
Sen. John Barrasso (Wyo.), the No. 3 GOP senator, added that he hasn’t “heard of any” GOP senator willing to object next month.

It's good to know Ol' Mitch is so appreciative of all the great accomplishments achieved by the leader of his party, & that it's okay if the opposition cheats to the high heavens to steal an election that in terms of legal votes they probably lost in a landslide. It's good to know McConnell seems to be okay that a crooked, cognitively challenged, narcissistic sociopath may soon be lording over the rest of us from his lofty perch in the Oval Office, & that our esteemed Senate majority leader appears to believe that the mark of a cultured gentleman is to always strive to turn the other cheek & take the moral high road, despite the severity of the wrong done to you & your grassroots supporters. I guess he's also okay with defunding the police, replacing them with social workers, & turning habitual criminals back out into the public at large. What harm could that do? The important thing as always is to remain above it all.
mcconnell will still have his taxpayer funded security even after he helps make We the People defenseless!!!!!

You know Herbert I'm at that place now. I've donated to the GOP for various things and with them it's always an emergency. I can't see anything coming out of it. I don't think I'm getting my moneys worth. I have already decided they are getting no more from me until I see some positive results. It's not worth me running my credit card up to send them donations. I get mail from them all the time wanting money and those surveys to fill out and send back right away of course with a donation. Well I'm sick of it. What difference does it make what we think anymore and a waste of time filling out surveys when that old Socialist will be in charge working against us not caring what we like or don't? Now the latest one is from someone working on the lawsuit wanting help to pay for what they are doing in the election fiasco. With the courts refusing to even read the evidence and dismissing things it's a waste of time and money. We have tried to go by the book, but now it's going to take more than that. The citizens need to rise up and make them take notice and that won't have anything to do with money. But it seems all they want to do is wring their hands and say "oh woe is me" and then fade into the sunset and leave it to fate. So when it comes to donations I'm done. I wish to God I was a younger person and able bodied so I could raise the roof and gather an army of citizens to go to Washington and make some noise, but I'm just another armchair patriot.
