The Ukraine has large reserves of crude and natural gas... it is also a major exporter of wheat. It is capable of repaying the US for its support once it returns to civil order.
All of the US aid should be contingent on repayment... a modern lend-lease program whereby the US recovers its aid for future use.
The RED FLAG should be raised thus far the American Taxpayers are on the hook approaching 1.06 trillion dollars with no end in sight yet we hear no alarm bells coming from our members of congress on either side.This is a conflict we DO NOT NEED TO BE INVOLVED IN. Like many on this site and around the country i served in one of our GOVERNMENT created wars and when we were pulled out there still was NO RESOLUTION to the conflict many lost their lives and many came home with wounds that will never heal. Our Politicians along with past Presidents havent learned a single thing AMERICA IS NOT NOR CAN EVER BE THE POLICE FORCE FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD. The war in UKRAINE should be of more concern for EUROPE and they certainly need to step up. I have yet to hear a single member of congress or our current President to even talk about or suggest a peaceful solution. Our response has been to keep sending money and arms while at the same time depleting our own military and our nations safety. Im all for defending my own country and defending those that can not defend themselves But this conflict could last for years or until America is bankrupt from supporting it. Everyone feels for the citizens of UKRAINE and they had nothing to do with starting this conflict but the sAd reality no one in their ruiling class tried to stop it before it began. Where is our UNITED NATIONS on this issue why arent they trying to find a peaceful solution? When our politicians blood starts being shed they will think twice before jumping into every conflict aroud the world. I believe its time for the ruling class in UKRAINE and RUSSIA ASSISTED BY OTHER NATIONS AROUND THE WORLD TO START LOOKING FOR PEACEFUL SOLUTION.

According to an Erickson report, today, 62% of what we have given Ukraine, is a "negotiated loan" and repayment has been guaranteed by the European Union; the remaining 30-ofd%, will be paid to the Pentagon, for the purchases of arms and ammunition. I tend to believe what Erickson reports, because he investigates thoroughly "before" he releases any news and, generally, reveals his sources.
Plese dont hold your breath waiting on the EUROPEAN UNION to ever pay us back they are not paying thier fair share now as President TRUMP pointed out as well as the UNITED NATIONS.
