After the pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, Twitter blue-checks, politicians, and elite corporate journalists wailed and rent their garments in outrage. But they weren’t really outraged.
Yes, the breach of the capitol was appalling and disturbing. Most people didn’t see it coming and were understandably shocked when images of MAGA bros fighting capitol police began popping up on social media (although the authorities should have been better prepared, most of all D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who had earlier rejected offers of additional law enforcement.) There’s no question the protesters who decided to riot should be prosecuted, as all rioters everywhere should be.
Specifically, it’s about punishing supporters of President Trump. If the pro-Trump mob can be depicted as “terrorists” and “traitors,” well, there’s almost nothing we shouldn’t do to silence them. Right? Rick Klein, the political director at ABC News, said the quiet part out loud on Thursday when he mused (in a now-deleted tweet) that getting rid of Trump is “the easy part” and the more difficult task will be “cleansing the movement he commands.”
That’s not the kind of language you use when you’re in the business of reporting the news. It’s the kind of language you use when you’re in the business of social control.

This is a good article even though it fails to address the real problem.
Ask yourself a few questions.
Wasn't Bus loads of Antifa/BLM recorded as moving into DC just prior to the published demonstration of support for Trump?
Did Soros and company publish instructions for their paid lunatics to dress as Trump supporters, with hats, flags, banners etc so that they would not be identified?
Did these same paid lunatics lead the way in the invasion of the government buildings?
Are they directly responsible for the violence, destruction, and death that resulted?
Did Biden and the rat infested democrat party benefit from this riot?
Is the media praising the left while shaming the right, and proudly claiming that Trump has sullied his own reputation?
Did the republican Senators and House members all cave in and affirm Biden as president elect?
Was this 'riot' not planned and orchestrated by Antifa/BLM goons?
I could go on and on and on, but I know that you already know that the answers are the same to each question. YES. So, only two questions remain. Maybe three. One is why is George Soros, who is an international terrorist, and is proud of it, doesn't attempt to even really hide it, why is he allowed to continue? Is it because of his money and his buddies, his partners in controlling and transforming entire countries?
Two, why is our own Military AWOL in this destruction of America? If the Top Brass of it allows the destruction of this Constitutional Republic, then what the hell good is it anyway. We have a Chinese Lackey as president, and we don't do a damned thing about it? Sit on our ass in the Pentagon while the country is dismantled, the Rule of Law disgraced and the American people bewildered as to how this can be tolerated?
Why does an old man like me, and many of you, and older women as well, and only the few of both, we are the ones who must ask the questions and try to demand real answers rather than more horseshit as a response.
One other thing. As a Vet, I find it utterly revolting to see some Vet in government lecturing me that I need to suck it up, unite with Biden, all for the 'GOOD' of the country. I have zero respect for these unexcusably ignorant people who say crap like that. Have they no sense at all, no SHAME?
