I agree that most "mainstream" television news and most newspapers propagate propaganda. I stopped watching all television news shows about a year ago. Nevertheless, you can find news sources with integrity, honesty, and documented reporting. Some of my favorites: are Epoch News, Glenn Beck and the Blaze, the Federalist, and the Hoover Institute. I read a lot and don't remember every source. There are also great podcasts. It takes only a little effort but I believe people can find honest news programs.

We no longer have investigative reporting in our nation, The media is so consumed with prejudgement and getting the story out before the other outlets that they no longer care if its true they just have to get the story out there no matter if its true or how much damage it causes, They havent a clue why the American people have no faith in any thing they report. When was the last time the Media printed or submitted a retraction on any false news they reported?
Yes the mainstream and other media repeating this are complicit, possibly accessory to the crimes. Arrests and justice should be applicable according to law.

In this country, at this time, the left is immune from justice and the law. Only conservatives are subject to the rule of law as perverted by the leftist DOJ.
