My own Mother's story of analyzing shoes from chyna and one pair was filled with lead an inch thick (lead is diluted with dilute acid, which sweat is acid and all feet sweat...) and the other pair was filled with filthy landfill rags. 1960's shoes were wedges and platform shoes, plenty of room to shove poison in the soles of the shoes.
