Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell became the highest-ranking GOP lawmaker to break from the Republican National Committee on Tuesday after the party censured Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for working with Democrats to investigate the Capitol riot.
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has been criticized for characterizing the January 6 attack as 'legitimate political discourse' in a statement after rebuking the conservative members of Congress.
McConnell maintained during a Senate GOP press conference that he still had confidence in McDaniel's leadership of the national party but implied her organization overstepped its authority in rebuking two sitting members of Congress.
He also denounced the riot as a 'violent insurrection.'
Without naming Cheney or Kinzinger, McConnell defended them by insisting the RNC's place is not to 'single out' members who do not toe the party line.

Statement by President Trump concerning Mike Pence’s comment on the Electoral vote count.
“Just saw Mike Pence’s statement on the fact that he had no right to do anything with respect to the Electoral Vote Count, other than be an automatic conveyor belt for Old Crow Mitch McConnell to get Biden in office as soon as possible. Well, the Vice President’s position, is NOT an automatic conveyor IF obvious signs of voter fraud or irregularities exist.
That is why the Democrats and RINOS are working feverishly together to change the very law that Mike Pence used on January 6th to say he had no choice. The reason they want it changed is because they now say they don’t want the Vice President to have the right to ensure an honest vote. In other words, I was right and everyone knows it!
If there is signs of legitimate fraud or large scale irregularities, it’s appropriate to send those votes back to the legislature to figure it out, and there was! The Democrats and the RINOS want to take that right away. A great opportunity was lost, but not forever. Meanwhile, our country is going to hell”!

In an interview with NEWSMAX, 45th President Donald Trump criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for her failure to properly secure the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6 as protestors entered the building during the tallying of electoral votes.
He also slammed Pelosi’s Jan. 6 House Select Committee for refusing to investigate the “massive voter fraud and irregularities that took place during the 2020 Presidential Election.”
“Why isn’t the corrupt Unselect Committee of political hacks and highly partisan sleazebags in Washington investigating the massive voter fraud and irregularities that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election, rather than spending all of its time investigating those who were protesting its result on January 6th?” Trump wrote in a statement on Thursday.
The 45th President bashed the January 6th Committee for not investigating “Crazy Nancy Pelosi and her files” that she reportedly has on the seizure of the building. Trump accused Pelosi of deleting and destroying the sensitive materials, “where are they”? Trump also alleged the Democrat House Speaker refused to ramp up law enforcement to secure the Capitol Building on Jan. 6, claiming that she ignored him and others who recommended extra security.
“It was the crime of the century! Large-scale proof of fraud and serious irregularities exist all over the place”. Also, “why is Crazy Nancy Pelosi and her files, which reportedly have been largely destroyed and deleted, not under investigation for not properly securing the Capitol with soldiers or the National Guard that were strongly recommended to her by me and others?” Trump added. Trump argued that if Pelosi took his suggestions and increased Capitol security, there would have been “no January 6’ as we know it.” “But that wasn’t on her agenda”.
“I knew the crowd would be extraordinarily large because they were protesting the RIGGED ELECTION. Capitol security was her job, not the President’s, and the American people now know that. If she did with security what she should have, there would have been no ‘January 6’ as we know it,” Trump wrote.
“As the House Speaker, Pelosi oversees the House sergeant-at-arms, (the chief law enforcement officer of the lower chamber), the Senate’s sergeant-at-arms was overseen at the time by then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. The Capitol Police are overseen by a four-member board, which includes the House and Senate leaders’ sergeants-at-arms. Thus, Pelosi and McConnell had the authority to increase security if they chose to, not me, they didn’t ”.
Therefore, Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Majority Leader McConnell oversaw the sergeant-at-arms at the Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021.
“The Fake Unselect Committee wants nothing to do with that subject because they know the fault lies with Nancy Pelosi and, to a lesser extent, the Mayor of D.C. “So, being I recommended 2000 soldiers and they refused to use them, why am I, and those around me, responsible for anything? We’re not, plain and simple, this has the ring of another fake impeachment!” said Trump.
Trump has repeatedly criticized Pelosi and the Jan. 6 Committee for their “unfair” treatment of those involved in the events. He recently said he would pardon some who were arrested for entering the Capitol and indict others that the committee failed to investigate, telling Newsmax that “some of these people are not guilty.” He also compared Democrats’ treatment of conservative protestors versus how they treat leftist rioters.
“You have to have equal justice, and this isn’t equal,” Trump told Newsmax.

The only way American Citizens can bust the corruption within Both Parties is to find those Candidates who best represent your values, needs and wants. Help them with your time, efforts and money to secure Nomination and Election. Then continue to monitor their activities to assure their promises are kept, or Recall and Replace them.
