The "Quality Learning Center" in Minneapolis—the one at the heart of the recent daycare fraud allegations—was previously known as Salama Child Care Center. That same building was raided by the FBI in 2015 for allegedly billing the state for more children than were actually present.

After the raid, the license was revoked, but a new one was issued in 2017 under the new name—at the exact same address.

And yes, it's still owned by the same family. The current manager has publicly said his parents own it, linking back to the prior operator involved in the 2015 case.

Taxpayers deserve answers. How does this keep happening? 🇺🇸
