MTG Mocks Pelosi Mask Mandate with 'Covid Checkpoint Charlie'

The GOP leadership is sadly wanting... their idea of resistance is to hold a news conference and announce what we already know... that Pelosi and Company are running rip shod over individual liberty and the Constitutional rights of the House members and its visitors. The GOP leaders are sorry examples of leadership. They can't even manage to organize a boycott of the House, which would deny Speaker Pelosi a QUORUM to do business in the House.

McCarthy could require Speaker Pelosi to produce a quarum on the floor of the House Daily... during the opening session of the House. He could challenge the Speaker's constitutional right to conduct business in the House without MAINTAINING the necessary Constitutional Quarum on the floor of the House. That single act could shut down most of the House's committees and the Dem's ability to produce the trash they label as legislation and oversight. We must stop the Democrats and Pelosi from any further legislative acts that corrupt our system of government.

Checkpoint "Charlie' was the historically infamous gate in Berlin that most traffic into communist East Germany passed... it was also the site of several shootings involving East Germans attempting to cross into free Berlin. It is appropriate that the term now be applied to COVID Checkpoints.
