Nancy Pelosi isn’t willing to uphold election results that are inconvenient for her.
She’s hopeful that an underhanded maneuver could get Democrats a top position.
Nancy Pelosi has a scandalous plan to steal an election and give it to an ally.
Not long ago, election results were traitorous behavior according to Democrats.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said “The easiest thing for [Trump] to do is to stand up like a man and accept the results of an election of the American people. For him to make these kinds of statements shows his lack of patriotism.”
Yet Pelosi is willing for a 2020 election to be overturned long after the results have been certified.
Pelosi said that Democrats may unseat Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) and replace her with Rita Hart, the Democratic challenger who she beat in the November election.
“On Wednesday, a congressional committee punted a motion to dismiss Democrat Rita Hart’s election contest of the result of Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District election in November before first considering the merits of her appeal,” the Iowa City Press-Citizen reported. “The U.S. House Committee on House Administration postponed its consideration of a motion to dismiss, which was filed by U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, the Republican who was certified by state officials as the winner of Iowa’s 2nd District by just six votes.”
Pelosi was asked on Thursday by Fox News reporter Chad Pergram whether there was a scenario where Democrats could replace Miller-Meeks with Hart.
“So yesterday the House Administration Committee voted to continue its inquiry into the Iowa 2nd Congressional District. Could you see a scenario, depending on what they find in their probe, of unseating the current member and Rita Hart …?” Pergram asked.
“You know, Chad is always the hypothetical. Could you see a scenario? We don’t do press conferences on can you see a scenario?” Pelosi said, trying to avoid the question.
“That would be a pretty bold move to do that,” Pergram noted.
“Well, I respect the work of the Committee. I did see, as you saw in the press, what they decided to, and they were following my, as I read it, the requirements of the law as to how you go forward, and how you go forward is the path you’re on. And, and we’ll see where that takes us. Yeah, but there could be a scenario to that extent, yes.” Pelosi said, admitting that Democrats are willing to overturn an election victory that was certified by a bipartisan state board.
Rodney Davis, R-Illinois, the committee’s ranking member, said that Hart had the option earlier to challenge the election results in court but had chosen not to.
“It will be one of the greatest mistakes this House makes to take up an election contest with a candidate who side-stepped the courts and instead turned to a partisan process in the House because they knew they could not win any other way,” Davis said. “Sounds familiar doesn’t it?”
