I think I heard once that, after Biden apparently won the 2020 election, Ten Republican Senators wanted to question the validity of the mail-in voting results, and request a 10-day hold at the meeting of the Electoral College, to re-audit the results. But when the protestors then rushed the Capitol building, and occupied it, these Republican Senators whittled down to two.
