New Hungarian PM: I Will Not Call Trump

This isn't going to be much of a problem for the USA, yes, we lost a strong ally, but we can do without Hungary, can Hungary remain free without the USA?

BTW Orban NEVER "cozied" up to Putin, he kept a good diplomatic relationship because the people needed the gas to heat their homes, he certainly could not count on the EU to help with that....or anything else! Plus....keep your enemies close is always a good idea!

Orban came from the communist times, he knew who Putin was then, and is clear on who he is today! Do you think for a second Trump would have sent Vance to Hungary if he though for a second Orban was a Russian ally? Orban has no more influence on Putin than Trump does! For Trump, Hungary was a solid anchor in Eastern Europe as long as Orban was leading. Trump knows Orban well, they are two peas in a pod, that's one reason the EU turned on him. He also refused Ukrain aide because hungary doesn't have the money, nor did they think it would be money well spent knowing the corruption, but he took the refugees at the Hungarian border. The EU talked up all the help Poland gave to the refugees....when did you hear about Hungary taking them in? Hungarians went to the border to help feed, cloth and house the Ukrainian refugees, I know some who were there! They had fed and kept the Muslims who were stuck in Hungary for a while back in 2015, even though at at time they would not allow Muslims to remain in Hungary, meaning they do the right thing! This election of Magyar was somewhat similar to Biden beating Trump, and I personally believe the results will be desastourous for Hungary. Many living all over the world went back to Hungary to vote in this election, unfortunately they were the soft, the warped by western politics, I could have gone back to vote.....but that one vote wouldn't have moved the needle!

Orban was educated in England, at that time that island was still very western in mentality, then he went back to Hungary to advance or take back his nation toward western thinking after the long soviet rule! He did well opening their minds, keeping Hungary Hungarian, but he was no match to the EU who was out to destroy him. This may be the last stab of Western Europe through the EU, this Hungary might not survive.

That's a lousy start to any relationship. Who does he think is going to make the final decision if not Trump! Does he really think this is going to be positive for his people? Next he'll remove the Reagan statue?

I'm telling you all right now, Magyar is Hungary's POS Obama, he'll kiss ass to all of Western Europe, he'll flood Hungary with Muslims to get any favor from the EU, but for the people of Hungary nothing will have a positive affect. What the west started in 1920 now they can finish, make Hungary entirely inconsequential in Europe. What Orban protected with all his might, this wussy will offer on a silver platter!

  This is going to be a real problem. It gave Hungary more power when Orban cozied up to Putin because Hungary actually got something in return for it. What do they get from the EU? A few shekels as opposed to billions in cheap energy and lots of political support?
