The authors of this piece start off saying "For decades, tobacco companies misled the public about the dangers of their products, engaging in multipronged PR campaigns and spreading disinformation." and go on, to say; " Today, nicotine and smoking are widely acknowledged to be addictive, and cigarettes are known to cause cancer. But it took years to expose these truths, all while massive tobacco corporations profited from the harm they caused. " when they still don't know all the additives in cigarettes, those additives being the most likely causes of Respiratory illness and cancer like the additive that keeps them burning when unadulterated tobacco would self extinguish.
Sharp, who was able to produce the first stove that didn't rely on wood or coal for the first time in recorded history. This was pretty major given that for the previous thousands of years, cooking was fueled by wood or charcoal. These flame-driven stove tops required constant attention and often filled the air with heavy smoke.
Consider the pollution of the old style Coal and Wood stoves to the pollution of the gas stove. Also consider the wealth of information about their respective impacts on environment and health over the centuries.
The main point against Gas stoves is the idea that electric stoves would use "clean electricity" same arguments as the coal fired electric cars and trucks use. They cite solar panels as the alternative to coal fires electric plants. Just see wat Texas had happen to it's many hectares of solar panels in it's last hail storm. You also have to consider all the toxic waste from the damaged panels being scrapped and the regular replacement of worn out panels.
A toxic disposal problem is created by the toxic chemicals needed to produce the Solar Panels, their disposal, and the electricity they provide. The toxic chemicals in solar panels include; cadmium telluride, copper indium selenide, cadmium gallium (di)selenide, copper indium gallium (di)selenide, hexafluoroethane, lead, arsenic, and polyvinyl fluoride. Solar panels create 300 times more toxic waste per unit of energy than do nuclear power plants. Alternate Energy Elitist Mavens and their Monopolies want to hide from the public. We need to see everything they have directed attention away from them so far. We need to closely look at every agenda the Left has proposed to see where else they have misdirected our attention for their profit and control. It's beginning to look like the Green Energy Agenda is a well hidden plot to poison us and the planet in the long run. I see the demonization of the gas stove as just another ploy of the Climate crowd. I ask one final question; In all the millennia that humans have been using wood, peat, coal, oil, and other fossil or natural fuels, why hasn't the planet already become so overheated that it is uninhabitable? Could this attack on gas stoves just be another ploy by the elites to keep the common man down and impoverished so they will be financial slaves to the elites?
