Sen. Ted Cruz says that he, like many other Americans, is "frustrated" by the lack of accountability for the political weaponization of federal law enforcement and national security agencies during the Trump-Russia investigation.
The Texas Republican said that those responsible for the illegal conduct, which persisted even after Donald Trump's 2016 election, must face more consequences.
During an interview Wednesday on the John Solomon Reports podcast, Cruz said "the people who broke the law need to be prosecuted, and they need to go to jail," but so far there has been too little accountability.
He remarked that "the Obama-Biden administration had embedded hard partisans within law enforcement that continued to wage a never-ending attack on the president and to be willing to lie, cheat and steal to do it."

Many of us would readily agree with you. And what you say makes total sense. Which brings us to the question why has something not been done yet? It has been so long, with so many investigations and yet nothing substantial, nothing concrete has come out of it all. In my comment below I am agreeing with one ot the others in this chain that maybe a back room deal has already been struck. And why not? The big crooks with all their billions...they are not going to prison. NO way. In the end they may be just pretending in order to appease the public. Who knows they may even use Trump as the scapegoat to all this treachery. It makes no sense that a country which is the paragon for the rule of law has fallen so short on excercising it.
I followed this story from day one, when it was just murmerings and "conspiracy theory". I have waited in vain to see equal application of our laws. The laws that apply to Conservatives don't seem to apply to the Democratic Party or any of the partisan hacks they have imbedded in our system. There isn't systematic racism in America but there is systemic bias against those who lean right of the all out communism/globalism of todays Democratic Party. I had hope when Durham was installed to investigate the matter but when Barr came out and said that there would be no charges even considered for Obama or Biden, I knew we would not see justice served in this lifetime. There may be a couple of patsys' go down but the decision makers who orderd this attack on our Republicwill not answer for their crimes.They will continue to be celebrated by the demonic party of the Left.

I hate to admit it but you are sounding off what I have been suspecting. It has gone on too long and it is incomprehensible that somehting has not been done yet. WE can be sure that there are backroom deals going on all the time. The big crooks will not go quietly. They will try to "fix" thing.....money talks.....And you are right again about Trump. They may be playing him and in the end they may make him the one big scapegoat in all of this treachery.
