Much of the current strife in the Middle East can be traced back to the Sykes-Picot Agreement where the European elites partitioned the region after the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire and WWI. Western influence had brought the concepts of Judeo-Christian freedom and modern technology to that region and help to exploit their resources to raise the standard of living. But it also created artificial borders without regard to the tribal alliances between the native peoples, and the clash of cultures continues to this day.
SOUNDS like you have Addressed certain causes RIKMIK, which could be the KEYS to trying to ReDo the "GLOBAL MESS" MAYBE REPLACING ADHERANCE TO THE UNITED NATIONS similar to The ARTICLE 5 idea being batted about here would provide a "starting point".
