The problem in NYC is not the citizens... it's government and an electoral system that doesn't provide adequate choices for public leadership... Their electoral system is badly broken and America in general has adopted its corrupt model for nominating and electing candidates to high public office. There is no choice when all the candidates on a ballot are unacceptable... choosing the LESSER OF EVILS for high office is insane. We need term limits (one term), recall laws, and to rethink and re-engineer our political party system for nominating and funding candidates for high office.
