  • Thank you dear friends for all the wonderful posts, laughter, and the nostalgia of better days. The following is a muse given to me by the lord years ago... I hope It brings back many pleasant memories:

    The Seasons of our lives

    In the Spring of our youth... we know not winters breath.

    In the summer of our days... we know no lack of sunny days...

    In the autumn of our lives, we bask in the golden rays of lazy days...

    till winters somber light, doth cast its shadow and our sight grows dim, with the coming of night... and the silence begins.

    In the Spring of our youth... life's joy buds, with the glow of the morning dew... and few, the cares of life askew...

    till summer's heat, doth warm our flesh... then, the necessities of life to do...

    In the autumn of our life, the faithful tic of time, brings with it, the harvest moon... and the promise of snow too soon... filling, the fields of our lives, with the cold embers of yesterday.

    In the Spring of our youth... we barter our lives for stolen love... for foolish dreams

    and with summer's long days, work consumes the way.

    In the autumn of our lives, we drink of summer's wine;

    too, opine of days long past.

    In the winter of our lives, we soon find, all too late,

    the lessons of Spring and the promises of summer... grow cold, too soon, too shut the gate...

    too late. Too, live, and live again... in eternal Spring...

    too, know that promise from heaven, given to man... of eternity, with certainty... witnessed in our soul...

    To engage that promise written in the Stars, as certain as Spring or Summer;

    as Autumn and Winter turn to Spring...

    This eternal ring... this hope, our witness of Gods' blessing,.too live again, and again...

    Nevermore, to see the torment of winters end, nor to gaze upon winters day...

    This my friends is my wish for thee... too see eternity blossom in Spring and with autumn's wind...

    that you rise again... too, a new hope and a better end. God Bless...

    • Thank you Col. Ron

    • Beautiful.  Thanks!

  • When we pray it is important to pray in God's will.  I don't know exactly what God's will is for this situation, but if what we ask for honors Him and does not cause us to sin i.e. break a law, then we should proced knowing our freedom to worship is at stake.  Acting on our Constitutional laws should be our first thought.  We need to protect ourselves from a godless government that does not acknowlege God's authority is given to them by Him.  If we only pray for what we want and not what God wants, then He will not answer prayer.  And we need to come before Him in repentance, for none of us are sin free.

    • I think as far as praying for our country, if we stay with terms of "righteous" and "unrighteous" and "Thy Kingdom Come," we are perfectly aligned with His will and He will hasten to do His will. We have righteous roots in our founding and in our documents, so praying He will confound our enemies of our republic, is also in alignment with His Word.

  • We are a nation of law, or no nation at all.

    • You are correct James... a nation of law or no nation at all.   The problem is that a corrupt cabal made up of Marxist and an elite plutocracy have hijacked the law... turned it on end and are suing fiat law to run the Nation... our law enforcement agents and courts are powerless to stop the corruption and it is now up to the Citizens of this great nation to take back the law and their nation... too, find the internal strength and fortitude to ACT... too, cast off the chains of corruption and lawlessness that has bound our better angels from policing the criminal agents of the corruption... I fear, it may be too late without Martial Law to avoid violence without capitulation...

    • The black and white Presidential outcome just turned a shade I think. The revelation of Swallowswell (the son Pelosi never had), and the bombshell video of a Beijing university professor describing the historic influence peddling through traitors starting in the financial sector from 1970 to 2008 and ending in the Presidents Cabinet, creates a mandate which eliminates a gracious aquiescence by statesman Trump to a fraud-tainted election. That is over.

      For Trump to concede without exercising the Insurrection act would be shameful beyond words.

      The enemy is here, standing exposed before us.

    • I agree... However,, before all out Civil War... The President may want to try Marital Law as an intermediate step.  It would give the Democrats time to think about the consequences and the people time to organize and solidify behind Pres. Trump in overwhelming numbers... especially, as they see a return to normal economic activity and the CROOKS GOING TO JAIL BY THE BUS LOADS.

    • Agreed with the same hope. I don't think Dale shares that pragmatism though. I can't say I blame him.

      The Texas appeal with a resultant House vote seems optimal for due process. I dislike the revote idea as being extra-Constitutional, though obviously it has merit compared to the present mess. Why give Democrats a second popular vote chance?

      Today, I received a postcard stating my political registration, and to notify the state immediately if anything is in error. I will not until I know its an election deadtime. Making any changes might disqualify me for 60 days to vote. Sneaky Democrats?
