One more thought. What the states do is interesting, but just how effective must it be in delaying the process? The electoral college has a legal deadline to meet concerning their own election result. This determines who appears for the legal deadline called Innauguration Day. If states dally or squeal they must have more time..........well I do not expect the public bus to wait for me if I am late to the bus stop at the appointed time. The bus moves on and so should the Electoral College.
If insurrection through secession is attempted, our newly installed President has Lincoln as a guide to turn to. It would be a short rebellion, I think.
SCOTUS need not be considered, as it is an advisory body. Constitutional deadlines are issues of execution. But the Constitutionality of the deadlines are firmly established.
None of this will come into play since Trump will win with a landslide. Every American can see that Trump has made America great again. The economy is great; the stock market is an all-time high; the borders are secure; patriotism, family values, Christianity, and fiscal responsibility are back in the center of political life.

I remember when Al Franken ran against a Republican in 2008. Election night, the Republican
won. But the next day, they kept "finding " more ballots voting for Al Franken, and just kept adding them up until Franken came out ahead and he was declared the winner .

Louise, a franken operative "found 13,000 ballots in the trunk of his car, all marked for franken with no other race marked. franken had lost by 12,000 votes and with this fraud the results were overturned by a corrupt devildemocommiecrat judge. That's why every true American patriot pledges allegiance to him and supports him no matter what. It is the same as pledging allegiance to the US Constitution and the United Stated of America.
