🧵They told the public a COVID lab leak “wasn’t plausible.” Their own private messages say otherwise. Today I’m launching The Reading Room where the public can review records related to my ongoing investigation – not just conclusions but the actual documents. 

2/ My latest drop: CBP prepared to stop and question Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth Alliance, at JFK in February 2021 after his return from the WHO's COVID origins mission to China. The FBI told them not to. 

3/ CBP's targeting package flagged Daszak's 15+ year relationship with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and his role as lead researcher on NIH grants funding bat coronavirus research - stating internally that "much of the funding DASZAK receives is put towards gain of function research." 

4/ A formal Tactical Terrorism Response Team exam was scheduled for his February 5, 2021, arrival at JFK. CBP wanted to ask about his contacts at the WIV, whether he collected or transported biological samples, and what happened during his trip to China. 

5/ Three days before he landed, CBP was told: "FBI New York requested we do not stop the subject below."

The inspection never happened.
