It is good to be polite, but often difficult to be both polite and honest, if we disagree with other peoples' thoughts and opinions. We can, however, "disagree without being disagreeable' (part of our membership pledge as I recall). We owe it to each other and our fellow members to be both polite AND honest, no matter where it takes us.
