An Arizona lawmaker says he will file articles of impeachment against the Secretary of Homeland Security over the department's alleged handling of the border crisis.
Republican Rep. Andy Biggs announced Friday that he would be filing the articles against Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas because he is 'a threat to the sovereignty and security of our nation'.
'As a result of his actions and policies, America is more in danger today than when he began serving as Secretary,' Biggs wrote in a statement.
The representative argues that Mayorkas is 'willfully refusing to maintain operational control of the border and is encouraging aliens to enter our country illegally'.
He asserts that under Mayorkas' leadership, Homeland Security officials are systemically allowing the coronavirus to spread by 'systematically releasing COVID-19 positive aliens into our communities'.
According to Biggs, the secretary is exposing American citizens to 'unnecessary and avoidable risk' and that he failed to uphold his oath of office.
'[Mayorkas] is presiding over a reckless abandonment of border security and immigration enforcement, at the expense of the U.S. Constitution and the security of the United States,' said Biggs.

By all means, let us remind in portrayal, the 'decent, loyal, upstanding' Democrats acting with contradiction and hypocrisy, in issues of interest to the voting electorate.

Keep the floor of Congress (both houses) tied up with motions of privilege, challenging the Speaker and requiring a quorum to be on the floor of the House and Senate before a business can be conducted ... Shut down the Congress until the election fraud is delt with and the True Winner of the Elections seated in the Oval Office.
It is about time a Republican gets off his ass and gets involved to save America. Good for you Republican Rep. Andy Biggs and there are many more that has to be impeached. Joe Biden for sure has to be impeached along with Vice President Harris.

Even though I kow this will go nowhere (well at least not until we get back control of the House); I'm glad some representatives are trying to take positive action. Mayorkas is a truly Anti-American disgusting person. In my view, he is a Traitor [just like everyone in the present Administration is]!
He should be shot for it. Bul Schiff,he didn't know he was ATTACKING OUR COUNTRY FROM WITHIN. No trial necessary. I and weel more than a jury of my peers has alreadyn seen enough to judge him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WAY BEYOND. He should be shot for this. PERIOD!
