  • Speaker Johnson needs to receive a message - - "Send the Sargeant at Arms, with a warrant, to arrest Garland and inform the latter HE is NOT ABOVE THE LAW" !!

    • SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT PLAN TO ME!

  • There is a jail in the basement of the Capitol building... For the first 160 years of our nation, there was no DOJ the President and His Administration enforced the laws of the US.not the Attorney General... he did not exist.  Why is there a jail in the basement of the Capitol building if the Speaker and Congress don't have the power to arrest and detain individuals in the District of Columbia ... th Capitol.

President Lincoln issued over 5000 Presidential Warrants... arresting and prosecuting individuals for violations of US Law, including the arrest of one Supreme Court Justice.  Today, the LAWYERS would have us believe the Constitution is no longer valid and that Article 2, Section 3 of the US Constitution grants the President and no others... the power to  "...TAKE CARE that the LAWS be faithfully executed.."

United States Department of Justice (DOJ), also known as the Justice Department, is a federal executive department of the United States government 'tasked with' the enforcement of federal law and administration of justice in the United States. It is equivalent to the justice or interior ministries of other countries. The department is headed by the U.S. attorney general, who reports directly to the president of the United States and is a member of the president's Cabinet. The current attorney general is Merrick Garland, who has served since March 2021.[5]

Before the creation of the DOJ... the 'Office of the President' had and still has the only Constitutional power to 'take care' the laws of the US are enforced... As such, the President has the authority to engage law enforcement DIRECTLY and independently of any other agency or government department as the President directs...  The US Attorney General WORKS FOR and derives ALL of his 'Constitutional' powers to enforce the laws of the US from the President....   The DOJ derives its constitutional authority and powers from the President's Constitutional authority to 'take care' the laws of the US be enforced...not the AG, US Attorneys, or the Director of the FBI.

It is past time that the President relieves AGs, US Attorneys, and the federal government law enforcement agents who refuse his ORDERS.

The President doesn't interfere with investigations when he inquires...  He is exercising his constitutional authority to supervise the enforcement of the law.... taking care that the law is faithfully exercised..   Pres. Trump can issue 'Presidential Warrants' to arrest, detain, and refer those accused of breaking federal law for indictment...  Let the House and its Sargent at Arms enforce the law and rules of Congress for the District of Columbia... As Congress and its Speaker are the Constitutional authority for enforcing US Law in the District, not local DC officials... Local Law enforcement in DC doesn't have the Constitutional authority to govern DC... see article 1, Section 8, Clauses 17 and 18... Congress is given the power to govern the Capistol... the District of Columbia.... not local elected officials.

    United States federal executive departments
The United States federal executive departments are the principal units of the executive branch of the federal government of the United States. They…
