Arrest and hang is quite American. Tidbit: The Honorable Isaac Parker required use of the gallows until the mid 20th C. He was known as the "HANGING JUDGE." He ordered 160 known executions of which 79 were carried out after appeals and commutation processes were completed. His executions were carried out by George Maledon, Deputy U.S. Marshal. The 1st known federal execution was by U.S. Marshal Henry Dearborn, June 25, 1790 for murder on the high seas. US Marshal E.D. NIx of OK had a scaffold that could pack for travel in 1894.
The Western District gave tickets, to distinguish the curious from witnesses and relatives.
Most death sentences required gallows until the mid 20thC. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg June, 1953, were executed by electric chair in Sing Sing Prison by U.S. Marshal William A.Carroll of Southern NY. The latest federal executions were March18, 2003, Timothy McVeigh and Juan Raul Garza for kidnapping, assaulting and killing Private Tracie Joy McBride, and McVeigh for the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Fed building in OK. US Marshal Frank Anderson of Northern IN (I wonder if he's still available), attended both McVeigh and Garza executions at the Federal Pennitentiary at Terre Haute. U.S. Marshal Covell Meek of Northern Iowa executed by rope, convicted murderer and kidnapper, Victor Feguer. Louis Jones, Jr. was executed on March 18, 2003 Compiled by Dave Turk, Historian, U.S. Marshals Service.
We should know these things for when the tards speak gibberish like the above.

I suggest we go farther.
