More lip service... feel good back slapping while the country goes down for the third time... are these individuals so blind and self-consumed that they are unwilling to call it like it is.. and.. AND... to take the Constitutional actions needed to save the Republic? Where are the John Paul Jones of our nation's Revolutionary War, who while being boarded by a superior British contingent was asked to surrender... He replied, " I have not yet begun to fight". Maybe just Maybe Rep. Jordan it is time to fight... discussions are getting us nowhere and our ship is not only being boarded it is sinking.

Why, is Congress ignoring its powers to prosecute corruption in the District of Columbia (DC) Congress has the sole Constitutional authority to govern the DC area... including, the powers of arrest and prosecution for criminal conduct in the DC area... Lying to Congress under oath or not is criminal conduct... Period... What are you doing about it? Where are the arrest warrants and prosecution... Surely there are enough liars and criminals to keep the DC jails full. Use them.
Maybe... just maybe they are lying so much because INDIVIDUALS LIKE YOU permit it... Say what? Whose responsibility is it to cull out the liars and corrupt individuals holding office in the federal government... You and your fellow members of Congress appear totally compromised or unwilling to USE all the actions available to remove corruption from the government...
Expulsion from Congress, Impeachment, and the use of Congress's powers to direct law enforcement and prosecution in the DC area... are functionally ignored. Congress has the jurisdiction necessary to direct the enforce its laws in the District of Columbia... Use that authority or be seen as complicit with the corruption...
And, when the DOJ and Courts attempt to interfere with Congress, as they will ... impeach the specific offenders involved. When the interference constitutes unlawful interference with law enforcement... direct DC law enforcement to arrest the offenders and prosecute them. Congress has the exclusive authority to legislate and manage the governmetn in the DC area... grow a pair ... stop with the circus and political merry-go-round.
The time to get tough with the corruption is long past due... wake the 'H' up or be counted as part of the problem... corruption.
