It is not supposed to be a lifetime handout, much less a generational hand-out. A hand-up is not supposed to be a hand-out.
Previous generations had some to little formal education and yet, taught themselves skills. Fed their families. Grew America in good ways. Fully understanding that freedom isn't free. That, too.
