In case you haven't realized how deeply the establishment just screwed us, take a minute and read this: Once McCarthy was ousted, a group of Republicans made it clear they would vote for NO ONE except for Kevin McCarthy.

Steve Scalise got nominated for the Speaker Designate and he was so short of votes, they didn't even bring him up for a floor vote.

Jim Jordan was then voted for as the Speaker Designate. After three floor votes, 25 Republicans, all of them establishment, refused to vote for Jim for a myriad of reasons.

They then went to a secret meeting in the basement of the Capitol where over 100 Republicans voted, in private, to kick Jim Jordan out from being the Speaker Designate. Mind you, Jim Jordan is the most popular Republican in the House and was the clear favorite of the American people. So, of course, they screwed him.

Then, after all this, they elevated Tom Emmer to be the "favorite" through the media, despite eight other people running for the gavel. As soon as it was clear that he was the favorite, they started circulating loyalty pledges around to make sure that if he won the secret ballot in the basement taking place today, members would be forced to vote for him on the floor.

Let's just remember, Tom Emmer supports the National Popular Vote, was paid by an organization ran by George Soros, voted to certify the election of Joe Biden without any reservation, loves Ukraine and has voted to fund them every chance he's gotten, has defended Ilhan Omar on multiple occasions, voted for an omnibus budget that funded vaccine mandates and even voted for the January 6th Committee.

This guy is about as much of a Republican as Nancy Pelosi.

Before the vote takes place, Democrats have started to come out of the woodworks saying if Republicans nominate Emmer, they will consider standing down so that Emmer can win the Speakership despite any Republican opposition. The uniparty didn't just strike back, they bent us over like Tupac did Jada and laughed the entire time. We are about to witness something absolutely disgusting unless the GOP Conference suddenly comes to their senses in this closed door meeting.
